Who we are

Although this site is just a family joke, we do care about the data we may receive from you, for example when you make a purchase from our shop.

Your Consent

By browsing our site and accessing our services, you signify your acceptance of our Privacy Policy and agree that we may collect and use your personal data as described in this Privacy Statement.

Liability

Although every care has been taken to ensure the inaccuracy of the information published on this site (except on the shop pages where products, quality, prices and orders fulfillment are real), we cannot accept any responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of this information. Shit happens, sort to say.

We expressly reserve the right to modify in part or in whole the content of this site, to delete or suspend its distribution, at any time and without prior notice. We're the bullshit academy. We say whatever we want, whenever we want. Get it, bro ?

Privacy Policy

Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable person (e.g. a name but also an IP address).

Personal data will not be sold or passed on to third parties. Any possible subcontractors receive only the data necessary for the task entrusted to them and are bound by confidentiality requirements.

The communication between your browser and the server hosting our website is encrypted. Your personal data is transmitted securely using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. We protect our website and our other systems with reasonable measures against loss, destruction, access, modification and dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. Despite our measures, we cannot guarantee that your data will not be altered, destroyed, subject to unauthorized access or misuse.

By visiting our site and using our services, you understand and accept these risks.

Use of personal data

We collect your data in two ways. On the one hand, when you voluntarily provide it. For example by using a contact form, by subscribing to our newsletter or during the purchase process from our site. On the other hand, we automatically collect the following data: IP address, date, time, browser software numbering as well as information generally transmitted on the operating system, respectively on the browser software. We may be required to pass on this data to third parties in the event of the fulfillment of a legal obligation.

We only use your data for the execution of your requests, for our customer service, technical administration and for anonymized statistical evaluations, which serve to improve our offers and the quality of our site.

What we collect and store during the checkout process

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed

  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping

  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order

  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints

  • Process payments and prevent fraud

  • Set up your account for our store

  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes

  • Improve our store offerings

  • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for XXX years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and

  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Payments

We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Data transmissions between our site and Stripe are encrypted.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide during 36 months. After this period of time, all user datas are deleted. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Use of cookies

Cookies or other cookies are used and may automatically record personal information (e.g. IP address, browser or device used). These cookies help to make the use of the website more pleasant and to collect information for analysis purposes (see chapter Google Analytics).

We point out that data relating to search and navigation may be processed for the purpose of advertising targeting. This data is then used in particular for purposes related to advertising, statistical measurements, geolocalized advertising or the analysis of the behavior of Internet users in order to personalize the advertising addressed to them.

All recent browsers allow Internet users to oppose the recording of cookies but also to carry out browsing sessions at the end of which the cookies installed during this session are erased (e.g. the Private Browsing mode on Chrome).

Google Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers which may be located outside of Switzerland.

Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can also completely disable the use of Google Analytics by means of the following add-on: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google and agree to the terms of use of Google.

In addition, Google has adhered to the “Privacy Shield” legal framework for data protection in Switzerland and the USA. Finally, Google will anonymise your IP address before saving it.

Share buttons (social networks)

You will be able to find buttons on our site that allow you to share content from our site on social networks. When you click on one of these buttons, your browser establishes a connection with the corresponding social network. If you are logged into your profile on the relevant network, the network can then record the fact that you have opened the relevant content page on our website.

Other technical means

We use – on a permanent or occasional basis – other analysis tools to better understand how Internet users interact with our site (e.g. a tool for tracking mouse movements on our pages that allows us to improve the layout of content and the quality of navigation).

The data collected is generally the IP address of the Internet user, the type of device and browser used. They do not allow us to identify a user by name.

References and links

Our site may provide references and links to other websites. Access to and use of such sites is at the user’s own risk. The information and services offered by these sites are entirely the responsibility of their authors.

Right of access and rectification

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
